NC GreenPower (www.ncgreenpower.org)

 

Headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, NC GreenPower is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to improve the quality of the environment in North Carolina through a statewide program that connects consumers with green energy and carbon offset providers. NC GreenPower was formed and is administered by Advanced Energy, a nonprofit that focuses on energy efficiency for residential, commercial and industrial markets, motors and drives and electric transportation. NC State Clean Energy Center (http://nccleantech.ncsu.edu)

 

The N.C. Clean Energy Technology Center is a UNC System-chartered Public Service Center administered by the College of Engineering at North Carolina State University.

Its mission is to advance a sustainable energy economy by educating, demonstrating and providing support for clean energy technologies, practices, and policies.  

The Center provides service to the businesses and citizens of North Carolina and beyond relating to the development and adoption of clean energy technologies.

The mission of New River Light and Power Company is to provide electrical service in the most efficient and reliable manner to Appalachian State University, the Town of Boone and the surrounding community within the franchised areas assigned by the North Carolina Utilities Commission. A secondary mission is to provide for the university's needs through financial support. In fulfilling its missions, New River Light and Power serves as a positive link between Appalachian State University, the Town of Boone and the surrounding community in economic development and public relations.
